Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

When you place an order for one of our retail store fixtures, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your retail supply items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. *Most orders are processed and shipped if received by noon EST and depending on inventory at time of order. Same day shipping is not guaranteed however we will make every effort possible to ship your retail fixtures the same or next business day.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many retail fixtures we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such fixture can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Your order may also qualify for discounted freight rates and you may be notified at time of check-out. This messages is intended to SAVE YOU MONEY, so please contact us with your shopping cart contents for a custom quote.

International Shipping: Many but not all of our products can ship to international addresses. Please contact us about the item and quantity you're interested in along with your complete ship-to address and we can quickly provide rates if we are able to ship to your destination.

APO/AFB Shipping: We are able to ship most but not all of our products to APO and AFB boxes, and in some cases there may be additional funds required. We'll contact you if we see an issue with your order and advise how to proceed at that time.

P.O. Boxes: We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.  Please provide a valid street address when ordering so at to not delay your order.

 

Return Policy:

  • Returns must be made within 5 days of receipt. In some cases we can extend a 30 day grace period, depending on the item and which facility it was shipped from.
  • Returned merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging. Used merchandise returned will not be refunded.
  • An RA NUMBER & ADDRESS FROM Metropolitan Display IS REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNS. DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT AN RA NUMBER AND RETURN ADDRESS provided by Metropolitan Display. Returns shipped without this information can result in long delays in processing your refund.
  • Return shipping charges are the buyer's responsibility.
  • A restocking fee of up to 20% to cover re-packaging and re-stocking materials and labor. Additional fees may be required depending upon condition (damage) when your return is received. Please contact us to see if a restocking fee is required to return your item, and the amount
  • Original Shipping Charges are not refundable.
  • Items sold with Free Shipping may be subject to an additional fee of $25 per item.

If you wish to continue to return your item:

  1. Contact us for an RA number and return address. DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT AN RA NUMBER AND RETURN ADDRESS provided by Metropolitan Display
  2. Return the item using your shipper account number or by taking the item to a FedEx location and follow the instructions provided by the carrier. You are responsible for the charges with the shipper. Returns via USPS (Postal Service) will not be accepted.
  3. Provide us with the tracking number(s) once the item ships to expedite your return and refund.
  4. Once the item is delivered to our warehouse and checked in, you will be refunded the purchase price minus any restocking or other fees. Original Shipping Charges are not refundable in most cases.
  5. If you are unable to bring your item(s) to a FedEx location please contact us.

 

Cancellations:

We will gladly honor your cancellation request, however please be aware that we try to ship as quickly as possible once your order is received and it is possible that your order may already have shipped by the time we receive any cancellation requests.

  1. Cancellation requests will be handled same day when received before 1 PM, Eastern Standard Time.
  2. If your order has not shipped when we receive your cancellation notice, we will cancel the order and issue a refund.
  3. If your order has already shipped by the time we receive your cancellation notice, we suggest that you refuse delivery of the shipment so it can be automatically returned to our warehouse facility. If you are unable to refuse delivery and the item is delivered, please contact us for further return information. Return shipping and restocking fees may be applicable if the item is delivered.
  4. Once the item is received at our warehouse and checked in, you will be issued a refund. This may take several days.

 

Refunds:

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Problem with your order?:

Occasionally issues that we are unaware of are sometimes brought to our attention by our customers and we do our best to resolve the immediate issue and correct any errors for the future. Issues or problems with your order must be reported within five business days in order to be corrected, replaced or otherwise resolved at no cost. Thank you for helping us identify any problems and defects, etc.
