I am the Family/School Advocate at Piney Grove Elementary School. We are a designated Title I school which means we have over 75% of our students are considered economically disadvantaged (we are currently at 80%). We have approximately 860 students in PreK-5th grades. Over the last year we have initiated a community partnership program to involve our surrounding “neighbors” with school needs. Our school has been the recipient of many wonderful gifts…one being the donation of many coats and uniforms (white tops and navy blue bottoms). We are currently in need of a garment rack to house the donations so that parents have access to these items for their students.
